CVSS v3.1 |
An Insufficiently Protected Credentials issue was discovered in LOYTEC LVIS-3ME versions prior to 6.2.0. The application does not sufficiently protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
IBM WebSphere MQ 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 Java/JMS application can incorrectly transmit user credentials in plain text. IBM X-Force ID: 126245.
tpm2-tools versions before 1.1.1 are vulnerable to a password leak due to transmitting password in plaintext from client to server when generating HMAC.
IBM Spectrum Protect 7.1 and 8.1 could allow a local attacker to launch a symlink attack. IBM Spectrum Protect Backup-archive Client creates temporary files insecurely. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a symbolic link from a temporary file to various files on the system, which could allow the attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the system with elevated privileges. IBM X-Force ID: 125163.
PostgreSQL versions 8.4 - 9.6 are vulnerable to information leak in pg_user_mappings view which discloses foreign server passwords to any user having USAGE privilege on the associated foreign server.
Intelbras WRN 150 devices allow remote attackers to read the configuration file, and consequently bypass authentication, via a direct request for cgi-bin/DownloadCfg/RouterCfm.cfg containing an admin:language=pt cookie.
Argument injection vulnerability in devscripts before 2.15.7 allows remote attackers to write to arbitrary files via a crafted symlink and crafted filename.
In libXfont before 1.5.4 and libXfont2 before 2.0.3, a local attacker can open (but not read) files on the system as root, triggering tape rewinds, watchdogs, or similar mechanisms that can be triggered by opening files.
The rend_service_intro_established function in or/rendservice.c in Tor before 0.2.8.15, 0.2.9.x before 0.2.9.12, 0.3.0.x before 0.3.0.11, 0.3.1.x before 0.3.1.7, and 0.3.2.x before 0.3.2.1-alpha, when SafeLogging is disabled, allows attackers to obtain sensitive information by leveraging access to the log files of a hidden service, because uninitialized stack data is included in an error message about construction of an introduction point circuit.
The Epson "EasyMP" software is designed to remotely stream a users computer to supporting projectors. These devices are authenticated using a unique 4-digit code, displayed on-screen - ensuring only those who can view it are streaming. All Epson projectors supporting the "EasyMP" software are vulnerable to a brute-force vulnerability, allowing any attacker on the network to remotely control and stream to the vulnerable device
Apache Tika before 1.14 allows Java code execution for serialized objects embedded in MATLAB files. The issue exists because Tika invokes JMatIO to do native deserialization.
Mercurial prior to version 4.3 is vulnerable to a missing symlink check that can malicious repositories to modify files outside the repository
A vulnerability in the web-based UI of Cisco Unified Communications Manager could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute a cross-frame scripting (XFS) attack. The vulnerability exists because the affected software does not provide sufficient protections for HTML inline frames (iframes). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by directing a user of the affected software to an attacker-controlled web page that contains a malicious HTML inline frame. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to conduct click-jacking or other types of client-side browser attacks. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCve60993.
In the cron package through 3.0pl1-128 on Debian, and through 3.0pl1-128ubuntu2 on Ubuntu, the postinst maintainer script allows for group-crontab-to-root privilege escalation via symlink attacks against unsafe usage of the chown and chmod programs.
Files or directories accessible to external parties vulnerability in picasa.php in Synology Photo Station before 6.8.1-3458 and before 6.3-2970 allows remote attackers to obtain arbitrary files via prog_id field.
Unspecified tests in Lynis before 2.5.0 allow local users to write to arbitrary files or possibly gain privileges via a symlink attack on a temporary file.
QOS.ch Logback before 1.2.0 has a serialization vulnerability affecting the SocketServer and ServerSocketReceiver components.
In vBulletin through 5.3.x, there is an unauthenticated deserialization vulnerability that leads to arbitrary file deletion and, under certain circumstances, code execution, because of unsafe usage of PHP's unserialize() in vB_Library_Template's cacheTemplates() function, which is a publicly exposed API. This is exploited with the templateidlist parameter to ajax/api/template/cacheTemplates.
An Unprotected Transport of Credentials issue was discovered in ABB Ellipse 8.3 through Ellipse 8.9 released prior to December 2017 (including Ellipse Select). A vulnerability exists in the authentication of Ellipse to LDAP/AD using the LDAP protocol. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sniffing local network traffic, allowing the discovery of authentication credentials.
Csrf.cs in NancyFX Nancy before 1.4.4 and 2.x before 2.0-dangermouse has Remote Code Execution via Deserialization of JSON data in a CSRF Cookie.
