| TSPortal is the WikiTide Foundation’s in-house platform used by the Trust and Safety team to manage reports, investigations, appeals, and transparency work. Prior to version 34, a flaw in TSPortal allowed attackers to create arbitrary user records in the database by abusing validation logic. While validation correctly rejected invalid usernames, a side effect within a validation rule caused user records to be created regardless of whether the request succeeded. This could be exploited to cause uncontrolled database growth, leading to a potential denial of service (DoS). Version 34 contains a fix for the issue. |

| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm allows Excessive Allocation. Publishing an oversized package can cause Hex.pm to run out of memory while extracting the uploaded package tarball. This can terminate the affected application instance and result in a denial of service for package publishing and potentially other package-processing functionality.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring: fix fget leak when fs don't support nowait buffered read
Heming reported a BUG when using io_uring doing link-cp on ocfs2. [1]
Do the following steps can reproduce this BUG:
mount -t ocfs2 /dev/vdc /mnt/ocfs2
cp testfile /mnt/ocfs2/
./link-cp /mnt/ocfs2/testfile /mnt/ocfs2/testfile.1
umount /mnt/ocfs2
Then umount will fail, and it outputs:
umount: /mnt/ocfs2: target is busy.
While tracing umount, it blames mnt_get_count() not return as expected.
Do a deep investigation for fget()/fput() on related code flow, I've
finally found that fget() leaks since ocfs2 doesn't support nowait
buffered read.

This was introduced by commit a196c78b5443 in v5.18. Fix it by don't
re-assign req->file if it has already been assigned.

This problem was also found in linux-next. In mtk_clk_simple_probe(),
base is not released when handling errors
if clk_data is not existed, which may cause a leak.
So free_base should be added here to release base. |
| Serialize JavaScript to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions. Prior to version 7.0.5, there is a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability caused by CPU exhaustion. When serializing a specially crafted "array-like" object (an object that inherits from Array.prototype but has a very large length property), the process enters an intensive loop that consumes 100% CPU and hangs indefinitely. This issue has been patched in version 7.0.5. |
| NanoMQ v0.22.7 is vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) due to improper resource throttling. A crafted sequence of requests causes the recv-q queue to saturate, leading to the rapid exhaustion of system file descriptors (FDs). This exhaustion triggers a process crash, rendering the broker unable to provide services. |
| Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.68 and 9.7.0-alpha.12, the GraphQL query complexity validator can be exploited to cause a denial-of-service by sending a crafted query with binary fan-out fragment spreads. A single unauthenticated request can block the Node.js event loop for seconds, denying service to all concurrent users. This only affects deployments that have enabled the requestComplexity.graphQLDepth or requestComplexity.graphQLFields configuration options. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.68 and 9.7.0-alpha.12. |
