CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netrom: fix double-free in nr_route_frame()
In nr_route_frame(), old_skb is immediately freed without checking if
nr_neigh->ax25 pointer is NULL. Therefore, if nr_neigh->ax25 is NULL,
the caller function will free old_skb again, causing a double-free bug.
Therefore, to prevent this, we need to modify it to check whether
nr_neigh->ax25 is NULL before freeing old_skb. |
| The decompression algorithm in zlib 1.1.3 and earlier, as used in many different utilities and packages, causes inflateEnd to release certain memory more than once (a "double free"), which may allow local and remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a block of malformed compression data. |
| Double free vulnerability in gtk 2 (gtk2) before 2.2.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted BMP image. |
| Double free vulnerability in the krb5_rd_cred function for MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) 1.3.1 and earlier may allow local users to execute arbitrary code. |
| Double-free vulnerability in CVS 1.11.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code via a malformed Directory request, as demonstrated by bypassing write checks to execute Update-prog and Checkin-prog commands. |
| Double free vulnerability in the krb5_recvauth function in MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via certain error conditions. |
| Double free vulnerabilities in error handling code in krb524d for MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) 1.2.8 and earlier may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. |
| Double free vulnerability in mshtml.dll for certain versions of Internet Explorer 6.x allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a malformed GIF image. |
| Double free vulnerability in OpenSSL 0.9.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via an SSL client certificate with a certain invalid ASN.1 encoding. |
| Double free vulnerabilities in the error handling code for ASN.1 decoders in the (1) Key Distribution Center (KDC) library and (2) client library for MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) 1.3.4 and earlier may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. |
| In BlueZ before 5.55, a double free was found in the gatttool disconnect_cb() routine from shared/att.c. A remote attacker could potentially cause a denial of service or code execution, during service discovery, due to a redundant disconnect MGMT event. |
| A double free vulnerability exists in librz/bin/format/le/le.c in the function le_load_fixup_record(). When processing malformed or circular LE fixup chains, relocation entries may be freed multiple times during error handling. A specially crafted LE binary can trigger heap corruption and cause the application to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. An attacker with a crafted binary could cause a denial of service when the tool is integrated on a service pipeline. |
| In crossbeam-channel rust crate, the internal `Channel` type's `Drop` method has a race condition which could, in some circumstances, lead to a double-free that could result in memory corruption. |
| A double free vulnerability was found in QEMU virtio devices (virtio-gpu, virtio-serial-bus, virtio-crypto), where the mem_reentrancy_guard flag insufficiently protects against DMA reentrancy issues. This issue could allow a malicious privileged guest user to crash the QEMU process on the host, resulting in a denial of service or allow arbitrary code execution within the context of the QEMU process on the host. |
| This issue tracks two CWE-416 Use After Free (UAF) and one CWE-415 Double Free vulnerabilities in Goahead versions <= 6.0.0. These are caused by JST values not being nulled when freed during parsing of JST templates. If the ME_GOAHEAD_JAVASCRIPT flag is enabled, a remote attacker with the privileges to modify JavaScript template (JST) files could exploit this by providing malicious templates. This may lead to memory corruption, potentially causing a Denial of Service (DoS) or, in rare cases, code execution, though the latter is highly context-dependent. |
| NVIDIA Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker might be able to use a race condition to escalate privileges. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, denial of service, and information disclosure. |
| The regcomp function in the GNU C library version from 2.4 to 2.41 is
subject to a double free if some previous allocation fails. It can be
accomplished either by a malloc failure or by using an interposed malloc
that injects random malloc failures. The double free can allow buffer
manipulation depending of how the regex is constructed. This issue
affects all architectures and ABIs supported by the GNU C library. |
| A double free vulnerability has been identified in the ASUS System Analysis service. This vulnerability can be triggered by sending specially crafted local RPC requests, leading to the service crash and potentially memory manipulation in some rare circumstances.
Refer to the 'Security Update for MyASUS' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Memory corruptions can be remotely triggered in the Control-M/Agent when SSL/TLS communication is configured.
The issue occurs in the following cases:
* Control-M/Agent 9.0.20: SSL/TLS configuration is set to the non-default setting "use_openssl=n";
* Control-M/Agent 9.0.21 and 9.0.22: Agent router configuration uses the non-default settings "JAVA_AR=N" and "use_openssl=n" |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in jarun nnn up to 5.1. The impacted element is the function show_content_in_floating_window/run_cmd_as_plugin of the file nnn/src/nnn.c. The manipulation leads to double free. An attack has to be approached locally. The identifier of the patch is 2f07ccdf21e705377862e5f9dfa31e1694979ac7. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue. |
