CVSS v3.1 |
| Due to missing input validation during one step of the firmware update process, the product
is vulnerable to remote code execution. With network access and the user level ”Service”, an attacker
can execute arbitrary system commands in the root user’s contexts. |
| Path traversal may allow remote code execution using privileged account
(requires device admin account, cannot be performed by a regular user).
In combination with the 'Upload' functionality this could be used to
execute an arbitrary script or possibly an uploaded binary. Remediation
in Version 6.7.0, release date: 20-Oct-24. |
| The All-in-One Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the resolve_import_directory() function in versions 4.5.4 to 4.5.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Dahua products.
Attackers could exploit a buffer overflow vulnerability by sending specially crafted malicious packets, potentially causing service disruption (e.g., crashes) or remote code execution (RCE). Some devices may have deployed protection mechanisms such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), which reduces the likelihood of successful RCE exploitation. However, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks remain a concern. |
| llama-cpp-python is the Python bindings for llama.cpp. `llama-cpp-python` depends on class `Llama` in `llama.py` to load `.gguf` llama.cpp or Latency Machine Learning Models. The `__init__` constructor built in the `Llama` takes several parameters to configure the loading and running of the model. Other than `NUMA, LoRa settings`, `loading tokenizers,` and `hardware settings`, `__init__` also loads the `chat template` from targeted `.gguf` 's Metadata and furtherly parses it to `llama_chat_format.Jinja2ChatFormatter.to_chat_handler()` to construct the `self.chat_handler` for this model. Nevertheless, `Jinja2ChatFormatter` parse the `chat template` within the Metadate with sandbox-less `jinja2.Environment`, which is furthermore rendered in `__call__` to construct the `prompt` of interaction. This allows `jinja2` Server Side Template Injection which leads to remote code execution by a carefully constructed payload. |
| MedDream PACS Server 6.8.3.751 contains an authenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows authorized users to upload malicious PHP files. Attackers can exploit the uploadImage.php endpoint by authenticating and uploading a PHP shell to execute arbitrary system commands with elevated privileges. |
| Rox, the software running BeWelcome, contains a PHP object injection vulnerability resulting from deserialization of untrusted data. User-controlled input is passed to PHP's unserialize(): the POST parameter `formkit_memory_recovery` in \\RoxPostHandler::getCallbackAction and the 'memory cookie' read by \\RoxModelBase::getMemoryCookie (bwRemember). (1) If present, `formkit_memory_recovery` is processed and passed to unserialize(), and (2) restore-from-memory functionality calls unserialize() on the bwRemember cookie value. Gadget chains present in Rox and bundled libraries enable exploitation of object injection to write arbitrary files or achieve remote code execution. Successful exploitation can lead to full site compromise. This vulnerability was remediated with commit c60bf04 (2025-06-16). |
| A denial-of-service and possible remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Rockwell Automation Power Monitor 1000. The vulnerability results in corruption of the heap memory which may compromise the integrity of the system, potentially allowing for remote code execution or a denial-of-service attack. |
| An arbitrary file upload vulnerability was reported in the Lenovo Scanner Pro client during an internal security assessment that could allow remote code execution or unauthorized control of the affected system. |
| The URL Image Importer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to insufficient file type validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.6. This is due to the plugin relying on a user-controlled Content-Type HTTP header to validate file uploads in the 'uimptr_import_image_from_url()' function which writes the file to the server before performing proper validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible via the uploaded PHP file. |
| An authenticated remote code execution vulnerability exists in Lucee’s administrative interface due to insecure design in the scheduled task functionality. An administrator with access to /lucee/admin/web.cfm can configure a scheduled job to retrieve a remote .cfm file from an attacker-controlled server, which is written to the Lucee webroot and executed with the privileges of the Lucee service account. Because Lucee does not enforce integrity checks, path restrictions, or execution controls for scheduled task fetches, this feature can be abused to achieve arbitrary code execution. This issue is distinct from CVE-2024-55354. |
| A client-side remote code execution vulnerability exists in Hanwha Techwin Smart Security Manager (SSM) versions 1.32 and 1.4, due to improper restrictions on the PUT method exposed by the bundled Apache ActiveMQ instance (running on port 8161). An attacker can exploit this flaw through a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) bypass combined with JavaScript-triggered file uploads to the web server, ultimately resulting in arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges.
This vulnerability bypasses the server-side mitigations introduced in ZDI-15-156 and ZDI-16-481 by shifting the exploitation to the client-side.
This product is now referred to as Hanwha Wisenet SSM and it is unknown if current versions are affected. |
| QiAnXin TianQing Management Center versions up to and including 6.7.0.4130 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the rptsvr component that allows unauthenticated attackers to upload files to arbitrary locations on the server. The /rptsvr/upload endpoint fails to sanitize the filename parameter in multipart form-data requests, enabling path traversal. This allows attackers to place executable files in web-accessible directories, potentially leading to remote code execution. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-08-23 UTC. |
| Volt is an elegantly crafted functional API for Livewire. Malicious, user-crafted request payloads could potentially lead to remote code execution within Volt components. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.0. |
| An unauthenticated remote command execution vulnerability exists in the applyCT component of the Hikvision Integrated Security Management Platform due to the use of a vulnerable version of the Fastjson library. The endpoint /bic/ssoService/v1/applyCT deserializes untrusted user input, allowing an attacker to trigger Fastjson's auto-type feature to load arbitrary Java classes. By referencing a malicious class via an LDAP URL, an attacker can achieve remote code execution on the underlying system. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-05 UTC. |
| The Gravity Forms WordPress plugin before 2.9.23.1 does not properly prevent users from uploading dangerous files through its chunked upload functionality, allowing attackers to upload PHP files to affected sites and achieve Remote Code Execution, granted they can discover or enumerate the upload path. |
| The Debug Tool plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file creation due to a missing capability check on the dbt_pull_image() function and missing file type validation in all versions up to, and including, 2.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to to create arbitrary files such as .php files that can be leveraged for remote code execution. CVE-2024-52416 may be a duplicate of this issue. |
| CWE-611: Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability exists that could
cause information disclosure, impacts workstation integrity and potential remote code execution on the
compromised computer, when specific crafted XML file is imported in the Web Designer configuration tool. |
| Tencent MimicMotion create_pipeline Deserialization of Untrusted Data Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Tencent MimicMotion. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the create_pipeline function. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-27208. |
| Valve's Source SDK (source-sdk-2013)'s ragdoll model parsing logic contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability. The tokenizer function `nexttoken` copies characters from an input string into a fixed-size stack buffer without performing bounds checks. When `ParseKeyValue` processes a collisionpair rule longer than the destination buffer (256 bytes), an overflow of the stack buffer `szToken` can occur and overwrite the function return address. A remote attacker can trigger the vulnerable code by supplying a specially crafted ragdoll model which causes the oversized collisionpair rule to be parsed, resulting in remote code execution on affected clients or servers. Valve has addressed this issue in many of their Source games, but independently-developed games must manually apply patch. |
