CVSS v3.1 |
The URL Image Importer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to insufficient file type validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.6. This is due to the plugin relying on a user-controlled Content-Type HTTP header to validate file uploads in the 'uimptr_import_image_from_url()' function which writes the file to the server before performing proper validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible via the uploaded PHP file.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in borisolhor Drop Uploader for CF7 - Drag&Drop File Uploader Addon drop-uploader-for-contact-form-7-dragdrop-file-uploader-addon allows Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server. This issue affects Drop Uploader for CF7 - Drag&Drop File Uploader Addon: from n/a through <= 2.4.1.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Digiwin ERP 5.0.1. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /Api/TinyMce/UploadAjaxAPI.ashx. The manipulation of the argument File leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in Helmut Wandl Advanced Settings advanced-settings allows Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server. This issue affects Advanced Settings: from n/a through <= 3.1.1.
Vtenext 21.02 allows an authenticated attacker to upload arbitrary files, potentially enabling them to execute remote commands. This flaw exists due to the application's failure to enforce proper authentication controls when accessing the Ckeditor file manager functionality.
An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in MiniWeb HTTP Server <= Build 300 that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server’s filesystem. By abusing the upload handler and crafting a traversal path, an attacker can place a malicious .exe in system32, followed by a .mof file in the WMI directory. This triggers execution of the payload with SYSTEM privileges via the Windows Management Instrumentation service. The exploit is only viable on Windows versions prior to Vista.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in CMSSuperHeroes Clanora clanora allows Using Malicious Files. This issue affects Clanora: from n/a through < 1.3.1.
An unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability exists in Havalite CMS version 1.1.7 (and possibly earlier) in the upload.php script. The application fails to enforce proper file extension validation and authentication checks, allowing remote attackers to upload malicious PHP files via a crafted multipart/form-data POST request. Once uploaded, the attacker can access the file directly under havalite/tmp/files/, resulting in remote code execution.
A vulnerability has been identified in TIA Project-Server (All versions < V2.1.1), TIA Project-Server V17 (All versions), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V17 (All versions), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V18 (All versions), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V19 (All versions < V19 Update 4), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V20 (All versions < V20 Update 3). The affected application improperly handles uploaded projects in the document root. This could allow an attacker with contributor privileges to cause denial of service by uploading a malicious project.
Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in blazethemes News Event news-event.This issue affects News Event: from n/a through <= 1.0.1.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Vesystem Cloud Desktop up to 20240408. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /Public/webuploader/0.1.5/server/fileupload.php. The manipulation of the argument file leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-260776. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
ZOO-Project is a C-based WPS (Web Processing Service) implementation. A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in Zoo-Project Echo example. The Echo example available by default in Zoo installs implements file caching, which can be controlled by user-given parameters. No input validation is performed in this parameter, which allows an attacker to fully control the file which is returned in the response. Patch was committed in November 22nd, 2024.
A vulnerability in XAMPP, developed by Apache Friends, version 1.7.3's default WebDAV configuration allows remote authenticated attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code. The WebDAV service, accessible via /webdav/, accepts HTTP PUT requests using default credentials. This permits attackers to upload a malicious PHP payload and trigger its execution via a subsequent GET request, resulting in remote code execution on the server.
The Super Backup & Clone - Migrate for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation and a missing capability check on the ibk_restore_migrate_check() function in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.
A vulnerability exists in the stb-language file handling that affects the RTU500 series product versions listed below. A malicious actor could enforce diagnostic texts being displayed as empty strings, if an authorized user uploads a specially crafted stb-language file.
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the WordPress Pie Register plugin ≤ 3.7.1.4 that allows unauthenticated attackers to impersonate arbitrary users by submitting a crafted POST request to the login endpoint. By setting social_site=true and manipulating the user_id_social_site parameter, an attacker can generate a valid WordPress session cookie for any user ID, including administrators. Once authenticated, the attacker may exploit plugin upload functionality to install a malicious plugin containing arbitrary PHP code, resulting in remote code execution on the underlying server.
ContentKeeper Web Appliance (now maintained by Impero Software) versions prior to 125.10 are vulnerable to remote command execution due to insecure handling of file uploads via the mimencode CGI utility. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to upload and execute arbitrary scripts as the Apache user. Additionally, the exploit can optionally escalate privileges by abusing insecure PATH usage in the benetool binary, resulting in root-level access if successful.
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability was reported in the Lenovo Scanner Pro client during an internal security assessment that could allow remote code execution or unauthorized control of the affected system.
XODA version 0.4.5 contains an unauthenticated file upload vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. The flaw resides in the upload functionality, which fails to properly validate or restrict uploaded file types. By crafting a multipart/form-data POST request, an attacker can upload a .php file directly into the web-accessible files/ directory and trigger its execution via a subsequent GET request.
WebPageTest version 2.6 and earlier contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the resultimage.php script. The application fails to validate or sanitize user-supplied input before saving uploaded files to a publicly accessible directory. This flaw allows remote attackers to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code, resulting in full remote code execution under the web server context.
