CVSS v3.1 |
An attacker may access restricted filesystem areas on the device via the CROWN REST interface due to incomplete whitelist enforcement. Certain directories intended for internal testing were not covered by the whitelist and are accessible without authentication. An unauthenticated attacker could place a manipulated parameter file that becomes active after a reboot, allowing modification of critical device settings, including network configuration and application parameters.
An attacker may perform unauthenticated read and write operations on sensitive filesystem areas via the AppEngine Fileaccess over HTTP due to improper access restrictions. A critical filesystem directory was unintentionally exposed through the HTTP-based file access feature, allowing access without authentication. This includes device parameter files, enabling an attacker to read and modify application settings, including customer-defined passwords. Additionally, exposure of the custom application directory may allow execution of arbitrary Lua code within the sandboxed AppEngine environment.
Chamilo LMS is a learning management system. Prior to 1.11.38, a chained attack can enable otherwise-blocked PHP code from the main/install/ directory and allow an unauthenticated attacker to modify existing files or create new files where allowed by system permissions. This only affects portals with the main/install/ directory still present and read-accessible. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.11.38.
Rack is a modular Ruby web server interface. Prior to versions 2.2.23, 3.1.21, and 3.2.6, Rack::Static determines whether a request should be served as a static file using a simple string prefix check. When configured with URL prefixes such as "/css", it matches any request path that begins with that string, including unrelated paths such as "/css-config.env" or "/css-backup.sql". As a result, files under the static root whose names merely share the configured prefix may be served unintentionally, leading to information disclosure. This issue has been patched in versions 2.2.23, 3.1.21, and 3.2.6.
| Files or Directories Accessible to External Parties, Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in Hallo Welt! GmbH BlueSpice (Extension:NSFileRepo modules) allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs, Bypassing Electronic Locks and Access Controls. This issue affects BlueSpice: from 5.1 through 5.1.3, from 5.2 through 5.2.0.
HINT: Versions provided apply to BlueSpice MediaWiki releases. For Extension:NSFileRepo the affected versions are 3.0 < 3.0.5 |
NEXTWEB (i)Site stores databases under the web document root with insufficient access control, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a direct request to databases/Users.mdb.
ZKTeco ZKAccess Professional 3.5.3 contains an insecure file permissions vulnerability that allows authenticated users to escalate privileges by modifying executable files. Attackers can leverage the Modify permission granted to the Authenticated Users group to replace executable binaries with malicious code for privilege escalation.
EverSync 0.5 contains an arbitrary file download vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive files by requesting them directly from the files directory. Attackers can send GET requests to the files directory to download database files like db.sq3 containing application data and credentials.
An information-disclosure vulnerability exists in Fortra's GoAnywhere MFT application prior to version 7.7.0 that allows external access to the resources in certain admin root folders.
The ReadFile endpoint of the firmware for Mennekes Smart / Premium Chargingpoints can be abused to read arbitrary files from the underlying OS.
Multiple Brother driver installers for Windows contain a privilege escalation vulnerability. If exploited, an arbitrary program may be executed with the administrative privilege. As for the details of affected product names, model numbers, and versions, refer to the information provided by the respective vendors listed under [References].
Files or directories accessible to external parties issue exists in SS1 Ver.16.0.0.10 and earlier (Media version:16.0.0a and earlier). If exploited, uploaded files and SS1 configuration files may be accessed by a remote unauthenticated attacker.
Local File Inclusion vulnerability in Ready's attachment upload panel allows low privileged user to provide link to a local file using the file:// protocol thus allowing the attacker to read content of the file. This vulnerability can be use to read content of system files.
A vulnerability in the command-line interface of EdgeConnect SD-WAN could allow an authenticated attacker to read arbitrary files within the system. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to read sensitive data from the underlying file system.
wolfictl is a command line tool for working with Wolfi. A git authentication issue in versions prior to 0.16.10 allows a local user’s GitHub token to be sent to remote servers other than `github.com`. Most git-dependent functionality in wolfictl relies on its own `git` package, which contains centralized logic for implementing interactions with git repositories. Some of this functionality requires authentication in order to access private repositories. A central function `GetGitAuth` looks for a GitHub token in the environment variable `GITHUB_TOKEN` and returns it as an HTTP basic auth object to be used with the `github.com/go-git/go-git/v5` library. Most callers (direct or indirect) of `GetGitAuth` use the token to authenticate to github.com only; however, in some cases callers were passing this authentication without checking that the remote git repository was hosted on github.com. This behavior has existed in one form or another since commit 0d06e1578300327c212dda26a5ab31d09352b9d0 - committed January 25, 2023. This impacts anyone who ran the `wolfictl check update` commands with a Melange configuration that included a `git-checkout` directive step that referenced a git repository not hosted on github.com. This also impacts anyone who ran `wolfictl update <url>` with a remote URL outside of github.com. Additionally, these subcommands must have run with the `GITHUB_TOKEN` environment variable set to a valid GitHub token. Users should upgrade to version 0.16.10 to receive a patch.
A vulnerability exists in Sitecore Experience Manager (XM), Experience Platform (XP), Experience Commerce (XC), and Managed Cloud that could allow an unauthenticated attacker to read arbitrary files. This vulnerability affects all Experience Platform topologies (XM, XP, XC) from 8.0 Initial Release through 10.4 Initial Release and later. This issue affects Content Management (CM) and standalone instances. PaaS and containerized solutions are also affected.
V-SOL GPON/EPON OLT Platform 2.03 contains an unauthenticated information disclosure vulnerability that allows attackers to download configuration files via direct object reference. Attackers can retrieve sensitive configuration data by sending HTTP GET requests to the usrcfg.conf endpoint, potentially enabling authentication bypass and system access.
A directory listing issue in the baserCMS plugin in D-ZERO CO., LTD. BurgerEditor and BurgerEditor Limited Edition before 2.25.1 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by exposing a list of the uploaded files.
OA EKP v16 was discovered to contain an arbitrary download vulnerability via the component /ui/sys_ui_extend/sysUiExtend.do. This vulnerability allows attackers to obtain the password of the background administrator and further obtain database permissions.
Elevation of Privileges in the cleaning feature of Gen Digital CCleaner version 6.33.11465 on Windows allows a local user to gain SYSTEM privileges via exploiting insecure file delete operations. Reported in CCleaner v. 6.33.11465. This issue affects CCleaner: before < 6.36.11508.
