CVE-2026-29089 1 Timescale 1 Timescaledb 2026-04-16 8.8 High
TimescaleDB is a time-series database for high-performance real-time analytics packaged as a Postgres extension. From version 2.23.0 to 2.25.1, PostgreSQL uses the search_path setting to locate unqualified database objects (tables, functions, operators). If the search_path includes user-writable schemas a malicious user can create functions in that schema that shadow builtin postgres functions and will be called instead of the postgres functions leading to arbitrary code execution during extension upgrade. This issue has been patched in version 2.25.2.
CVE-2026-3787 3 Microsoft, Ultravnc, Uvnc 3 Windows, Ultravnc, Ultravnc 2026-04-16 7 High
A weakness has been identified in UltraVNC 1.6.4.0 on Windows. This affects an unknown function in the library cryptbase.dll of the component Windows Service. This manipulation causes uncontrolled search path. The attack requires local access. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is reported as difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2026-21333 2 Adobe, Microsoft 2 Illustrator, Windows 2026-04-16 8.6 High
Illustrator versions 29.8.4, 30.1 and earlier are affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that might allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
CVE-2026-27290 2 Adobe, Microsoft 2 Framemaker, Windows 2026-04-15 8.6 High
Adobe Framemaker versions 2022.8 and earlier are affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that might allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the application uses a search path to locate critical resources such as programs, then an attacker could modify that search path to point to a malicious program, which the targeted application would then execute. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
CVE-2026-21508 1 Microsoft 30 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 27 more 2026-04-15 7 High
Improper authentication in Windows Storage allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-2516 1 Unidocs 2 Ezpdf Drm Reader, Ezpdf Reader 2026-04-15 7 High
A vulnerability was identified in Unidocs ezPDF DRM Reader and ezPDF Reader 2.0/3.0.0.4. This affects an unknown part in the library SHFOLDER.dll. Such manipulation leads to uncontrolled search path. The attack needs to be performed locally. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. It is indicated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. The vendor explains: "[W]e have already addressed similar DLL search path vulnerability patterns through prior security updates. (...) Users are advised to use the latest version provided by the vendor."
CVE-2024-14012 2 Microsoft, Revenera 2 Windows, Installshield 2026-04-15 N/A
Potential privilege escalation issue in Revenera InstallShield version 2023 R1 running a renamed Setup.exe on Windows. When a local administrator executes a renamed Setup.exe, the MPR.dll may get loaded from an insecure location and can result in a privilege escalation. The issue has been fixed in versions 2023 R2 and later.
CVE-2025-13433 2 Microsoft, Muse 2 Windows, Musehub 2026-04-15 7 High
A security flaw has been discovered in Muse Group MuseHub 2.1.0.1567. The affected element is an unknown function of the file C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Muse.MuseHub_2.1.0.1567_x64__rb9pth70m6nz6\Muse.Updater.exe of the component Windows Service. The manipulation results in unquoted search path. The attack is only possible with local access. A high complexity level is associated with this attack. The exploitability is described as difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2025-43079 3 Linux, Qualys, Qualys Inc 4 Linux, Cloud Agent, Cloud Agent For Linux and 1 more 2026-04-15 6.3 Medium
The Qualys Cloud Agent included a bundled uninstall script (qagent_uninstall.sh), specific to Mac and Linux supported versions that invoked multiple system commands without using absolute paths and without sanitizing the $PATH environment. If the uninstall script is executed with elevated privileges (e.g., via sudo) in an environment where $PATH has been manipulated, an attacker with root/sudo privileges could cause malicious executables to be run in place of the intended system binaries. This behavior can be leveraged for local privilege escalation and arbitrary command execution under elevated privileges.
CVE-2025-0567 2026-04-15 4.5 Medium
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Epic Games Launcher up to 17.2.1. This vulnerability affects unknown code in the library profapi.dll of the component Installer. The manipulation leads to untrusted search path. Attacking locally is a requirement. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult.
CVE-2024-21923 1 Amd 1 Storemi 2026-04-15 7.3 High
Incorrect default permissions in AMD StoreMI™ could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2024-3220 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-04-15 4.6 Medium
There is a defect in the CPython standard library module “mimetypes” where on Windows the default list of known file locations are writable meaning other users can create invalid files to cause MemoryError to be raised on Python runtime startup or have file extensions be interpreted as the incorrect file type. This defect is caused by the default locations of Linux and macOS platforms (such as “/etc/mime.types”) also being used on Windows, where they are user-writable locations (“C:\etc\mime.types”). To work-around this issue a user can call mimetypes.init() with an empty list (“[]”) on Windows platforms to avoid using the default list of known file locations.
CVE-2025-24829 2026-04-15 N/A

A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in libretro RetroArch up to 1.19.1 on Windows. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality in the library profapi.dll of the component Startup. The manipulation leads to untrusted search path. An attack has to be approached locally. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2024-8733 2026-04-15 8 High

CVE-2025-9267 2 Microsoft, Seagate 2 Windows, Toolkit 2026-04-15 N/A
In Seagate Toolkit on Windows a vulnerability exists in the Toolkit Installer prior to versions 2.35.0.6 where it attempts to load DLLs from the current working directory without validating their origin or integrity. This behavior can be exploited by placing a malicious DLL in the same directory as the installer executable, leading to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running the installer. The issue stems from the use of insecure DLL loading practices, such as relying on relative paths or failing to specify fully qualified paths when invoking system libraries.
CVE-2019-25257 1 Logicaldoc 1 Logicaldoc 2026-04-15 6.5 Medium
LogicalDOC Enterprise 7.7.4 contains multiple authenticated OS command execution vulnerabilities that allow attackers to manipulate binary paths when changing system settings. Attackers can exploit these vulnerabilities by modifying configuration parameters like antivirus.command, ocr.Tesseract.path, and other system paths to execute arbitrary system commands with elevated privileges.
