CVSS v3.1 |
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) in various Lexmark devices. The vulnerability can be leveraged by an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
A code execution vulnerability exists in the Xiaomi Game center application product. The vulnerability is caused by improper input validation and can be exploited by attackers to execute malicious code.
ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.5.1, 5.4.3, and 5.3.4, when the ESP32-P4 uses its hardware JPEG decoder, the software parser lacks necessary validation checks. A specially crafted (malicious) JPEG image could exploit the parsing routine and trigger an out-of-bounds array access. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.5.2, 5.4.4, and 5.3.5. At time of publication versions 5.5.2, 5.4.4, and 5.3.5 have not been released but are fixed respectively in commits 4b8f585, c79cb4d, and 34e2726.
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in GL.iNet GL-A1300 Slate Plus, GL-AR300M16 Shadow, GL-AR300M Shadow, GL-AR750 Creta, GL-AR750S-EXT Slate, GL-AX1800 Flint, GL-AXT1800 Slate AX, GL-B1300 Convexa-B, GL-B3000 Marble, GL-BE3600 Slate 7, GL-E750, GL-E750V2 Mudi, GL-MT300N-V2 Mango, GL-MT1300 Beryl, GL-MT2500 Brume 2, GL-MT3000 Beryl AX, GL-MT6000 Flint 2, GL-SFT1200 Opal, GL-X300B Collie, GL-X750 Spitz, GL-X3000 Spitz AX, GL-XE300 Puli and GL-XE3000 Puli AX 4.x. Affected is an unknown function of the file plugins.so of the component RPC Handler. The manipulation leads to buffer overflow. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
An integer underflow vulnerability in the Silicon Labs Z-Wave Protocol Controller can lead to out of bounds memory reads.
Out-of-bounds read for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
A heap-based buffer over-read vulnerability was found in the X.org server's ProcAppleDRICreatePixmap() function. This issue occurs when byte-swapped length values are used in replies, potentially leading to memory leakage and segmentation faults, particularly when triggered by a client with a different endianness. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to cause the X server to read heap memory values and then transmit them back to the client until encountering an unmapped page, resulting in a crash. Despite the attacker's inability to control the specific memory copied into the replies, the small length values typically stored in a 32-bit integer can result in significant attempted out-of-bounds reads.
gAlan 0.2.1, a modular audio processing environment for Windows, is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow when parsing .galan files. The application fails to properly validate the length of input data, allowing a specially crafted file to overwrite the stack and execute arbitrary code. Exploitation requires local interaction, typically by convincing a user to open the malicious file.
A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the UtilConfigHome.csp endpoint of InterSystems Caché 2009.1. The vulnerability is triggered by sending a specially crafted HTTP GET request containing an oversized argument to the .csp handler. Due to insufficient bounds checking, the input overflows a stack buffer, allowing an attacker to overwrite control structures and execute arbitrary code. It is unknown if this vulnerability was patched and an affected version range remains undefined.
Belkin Bulldog Plus version 4.0.2 build 1219 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its web service authentication handler. When a specially crafted HTTP request is sent with an oversized Authorization header, the application fails to properly validate the input length before copying it into a fixed-size buffer, resulting in memory corruption and potential remote code execution. Exploitation requires network access and does not require prior authentication.
An invalid memory access when handling a UE Context Release message containing an invalid UE identifier in Athonet vEPC MME v11.4.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) to the cellular network by repeatedly initiating connections and sending a crafted payload.
util/JSONTokener.java in JSON-lib before 3.1.0 mishandles an unbalanced comment string.
A heap-buffer-overflow write exists in jpeg2000dec FFmpeg which allows an attacker to potentially gain remote code execution or cause denial of service via the channel definition cdef atom of JPEG2000.
A Heap buffer overflow in the server-site handshake implementation in Real Time Logic SharkSSL from 09/09/24 and earlier allows a remote attacker to trigger a Denial-of-Service via a malformed TLS Client Key Exchange message.
An issue in the Bluetooth Low Energy implementation of Cypress Bluetooth SDK v3.66 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted LL_PAUSE_ENC_REQ packet.
PostgreSQL optimizer statistics allow a user to read sampled data within a view that the user cannot access. Separately, statistics allow a user to read sampled data that a row security policy intended to hide. PostgreSQL maintains statistics for tables by sampling data available in columns; this data is consulted during the query planning process. Prior to this release, a user could craft a leaky operator that bypassed view access control lists (ACLs) and bypassed row security policies in partitioning or table inheritance hierarchies. Reachable statistics data notably included histograms and most-common-values lists. CVE-2017-7484 and CVE-2019-10130 intended to close this class of vulnerability, but this gap remained. Versions before PostgreSQL 17.6, 16.10, 15.14, 14.19, and 13.22 are affected.
An authenticated attacker may trigger a stack based buffer overflow by performing a malformed request to either the HTTP service (TCP port 80), the HTTPS service (TCP port 443), or the IPP service (TCP port 631). The malformed request will contain an empty Origin header value and a malformed Referer header value. The Referer header value will trigger a stack based buffer overflow when the host value in the Referer header is processed and is greater than 64 bytes in length.
Driver Booster v10.6 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow via the Host parameter under the Customize proxy module.
Out-of-bounds read for some OpenCL(TM) software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
A voltage glitch during the startup of EEFC NVM controllers on Microchip SAM E70/S70/V70/V71, SAM G55, SAM 4C/4S/4N/4E, and SAM 3S/3N/3U microcontrollers allows access to the memory bus via the debug interface even if the security bit is set.
