Rewrite the IB parsing to use amdgpu_ib_get_value() which handles the
bounds checks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: hci_event: Fix OOB read and infinite loop in hci_le_create_big_complete_evt
hci_le_create_big_complete_evt() iterates over BT_BOUND connections for
a BIG handle using a while loop, accessing ev->bis_handle[i++] on each
iteration. However, there is no check that i stays within ev->num_bis
before the array access.
When a controller sends a LE_Create_BIG_Complete event with fewer
bis_handle entries than there are BT_BOUND connections for that BIG,
or with num_bis=0, the loop reads beyond the valid bis_handle[] flex
array into adjacent heap memory. Since the out-of-bounds values
typically exceed HCI_CONN_HANDLE_MAX (0x0EFF), hci_conn_set_handle()
rejects them and the connection remains in BT_BOUND state. The same
connection is then found again by hci_conn_hash_lookup_big_state(),
creating an infinite loop with hci_dev_lock held.
Fix this by terminating the BIG if in case not all BIS could be setup
properly. |

RDMA/mana: Remove user triggerable WARN_ON() in mana_ib_create_qp_rss()
Sashiko points out that the user can specify WQs sharing the same CQ as a
part of the uAPI and this will trigger the WARN_ON() then go on to corrupt
the kernel.
Just reject it outright and fail the QP creation. |

rxrpc: Fix rxkad crypto unalignment handling
Fix handling of a packet with a misaligned crypto length. Also handle
non-ENOMEM errors from decryption by aborting. Further, remove the
WARN_ON_ONCE() so that it can't be remotely triggered (a trace line can
still be emitted). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/uverbs: Validate wqe_size before using it in ib_uverbs_post_send
ib_uverbs_post_send() uses cmd.wqe_size from userspace without any
validation before passing it to kmalloc() and using the allocated
buffer as struct ib_uverbs_send_wr.
If a user provides a small wqe_size value (e.g., 1), kmalloc() will
succeed, but subsequent accesses to user_wr->opcode, user_wr->num_sge,
and other fields will read beyond the allocated buffer, resulting in
an out-of-bounds read from kernel heap memory. This could potentially
leak sensitive kernel information to userspace.
Additionally, providing an excessively large wqe_size can trigger a
WARNING in the memory allocation path, as reported by syzkaller.
This is inconsistent with ib_uverbs_unmarshall_recv() which properly
validates that wqe_size >= sizeof(struct ib_uverbs_recv_wr) before
proceeding.
Add the same validation for ib_uverbs_post_send() to ensure wqe_size
is at least sizeof(struct ib_uverbs_send_wr). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: wwan: t7xx: validate port_count against message length in t7xx_port_enum_msg_handler
t7xx_port_enum_msg_handler() uses the modem-supplied port_count field as
a loop bound over port_msg->data[] without checking that the message buffer
contains sufficient data. A modem sending port_count=65535 in a 12-byte
buffer triggers a slab-out-of-bounds read of up to 262140 bytes.
Add a sizeof(*port_msg) check before accessing the port message header
fields to guard against undersized messages.
Add a struct_size() check after extracting port_count and before the loop.
In t7xx_parse_host_rt_data(), guard the rt_feature header read with a
remaining-buffer check before accessing data_len, validate feat_data_len
against the actual remaining buffer to prevent OOB reads and signed
integer overflow on offset.
Pass msg_len from both call sites: skb->len at the DPMAIF path after
skb_pull(), and the validated feat_data_len at the handshake path. |

| The (1) roaming_read and (2) roaming_write functions in roaming_common.c in the client in OpenSSH 5.x, 6.x, and 7.x before 7.1p2, when certain proxy and forward options are enabled, do not properly maintain connection file descriptors, which allows remote servers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer overflow) or possibly have unspecified other impact by requesting many forwardings. |
| A buffer overflow exists in the Brotli library versions prior to 1.0.8 where an attacker controlling the input length of a "one-shot" decompression request to a script can trigger a crash, which happens when copying over chunks of data larger than 2 GiB. It is recommended to update your Brotli library to 1.0.8 or later. If one cannot update, we recommend to use the "streaming" API as opposed to the "one-shot" API, and impose chunk size limits. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Reset register ID for BPF_END value tracking
When a register undergoes a BPF_END (byte swap) operation, its scalar
value is mutated in-place. If this register previously shared a scalar ID
with another register (e.g., after an `r1 = r0` assignment), this tie must
be broken.
Currently, the verifier misses resetting `dst_reg->id` to 0 for BPF_END.
Consequently, if a conditional jump checks the swapped register, the
verifier incorrectly propagates the learned bounds to the linked register,
leading to false confidence in the linked register's value and potentially
allowing out-of-bounds memory accesses.
Fix this by explicitly resetting `dst_reg->id` to 0 in the BPF_END case
to break the scalar tie, similar to how BPF_NEG handles it via
`__mark_reg_known`. |

| sqclass.cpp in Squirrel through 2.2.5 and 3.x through 3.1 allows an out-of-bounds read (in the core interpreter) that can lead to Code Execution. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
apparmor: validate DFA start states are in bounds in unpack_pdb
Start states are read from untrusted data and used as indexes into the
DFA state tables. The aa_dfa_next() function call in unpack_pdb() will
access dfa->tables[YYTD_ID_BASE][start], and if the start state exceeds
the number of states in the DFA, this results in an out-of-bound read.
