| An issue was discovered in Django 6.0 before 6.0.6 and 5.2 before 5.2.15.
`django.http.HttpRequest.get_signed_cookie` in Django uses a non-injective salt derivation (concatenating the cookie name and salt argument), which allows a remote attacker to use a cookie in a context different from the one where it was signed, via distinct `(name, salt)` pairs that produce the same concatenation.
Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected.

| A vulnerability in the OSPF protocol of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an authenticated, adjacent attacker to cause an affected device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a DoS condition. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have the OSPF secret key.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation when processing OSPF link-state update (LSU) packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted OSPF LSU packets. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to corrupt the heap, causing the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. |

To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-supplied command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input for specific CLI commands. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system with root-level privileges. |

`django.core.mail.backends.smtp.EmailBackend` in Django fails to prevent reuse of a partially-initialized connection after a failed `STARTTLS` handshake when `fail_silently=True`, which allows on-path network attackers to read email content via cleartext interception.
Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected.

| An issue was discovered in Django 5.2 before 5.2.15 and 6.0 before 6.0.6.
`django.middleware.cache.UpdateCacheMiddleware` in Django does not match `Cache-Control` response directives case-insensitively, which allows remote attackers to read responses that were incorrectly cached because their `Cache-Control` directives used uppercase or mixed-case values.
Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.0.x, 4.1.x, and 3.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected.

| Mojolicious versions from 7.28 through 9.45 for Perl will generate weak HMAC session cookie secrets via "mojo generate app" by default.
When creating a default app skeleton with the "mojo generate app" tool, a weak secret is written to the application's configuration file using the insecure rand() function, and used for authenticating and protecting the integrity of the application's sessions. This may allow an attacker to brute force the application's session keys.
Release 9.46 fixes the issue by providing high quality randomness, even in absence of CryptX.
Users should be aware that the update does not replace previously generated weak secrets. A secret generated with the previous version MUST be replaced to ensure the updated version is using a strong secret. |

| A flaw was found in libinput. A local attacker with access to /dev/uinput can inject arbitrary udev properties through the libinput-device-group helper. This injection can lead to root code execution, for example, by exploiting REMOVE_CMD properties that are executed when a device is removed. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system. |
| In `src/havegecmd.c`, the `socket_handler` function performs a credential check on the abstract UNIX socket (`\0/sys/entropy/haveged`). However, while it detects if the connecting user is not root (`cred.uid != 0`) and prepares a negative acknowledgement (`ASCII_NAK`), it **fails to stop execution**. The code proceeds to the `switch` statement, allowing any local unprivileged user to execute privileged commands such as `MAGIC_CHROOT`. |
